Fleet Upgrade

Huron Web Printing and Graphics has added four new 24 and 28 foot trucks to its fleet. The trucks replace four vehicles that had nearly a million miles each. The company upgrades its fleet of eight trucks every three to five years. President Chris Cooke says having its own trucks allows Huron Web to control just-in-time delivery to customers and back haul newsprint, ink and plates to its pressroom.

Just-In-Time Delivery

Huron Web does not use outside transportation. It owns and operates its own fleet of trucks for just-in-time delivery of printed products to clients in Ontario, Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. The company employs 14 drivers and operates the trucking division 24 hours six and seven days a week.
